Good morning, and just three days left. Welcome to Saturday Morning Garden Blogging.
While all y'all back east were suffering the Frankenstorm, here in Denver I was avoiding the teevee and planting my spring bulbs.
Our highs have been in the 70s, and the lows in the 40s — and, of course, it's been dry.
I finished planting the bulbs on Tuesday; Halloween was so warm we were able to just leave the front door wide open for the steady parade of trick or treating kids.
And the campaign ads, and political and polling phone calls continue unabated.
I resent that we'll have an extra hour of it this weekend when we switch from daylight savings time to standard time.
I'm feeling as droopy and disgruntled as our Halloween jack o' lantern — which is why SMGB is light on content today.
That's what's happening here. What's going on in your gardens?
